Draft Amendment 16: Manual 16 - bovine post mortem inspection procedures
MAF periodically asks for feedback on food safety issues that affect consumers and the food industry. You can make a submission (by post, email or fax) before the closing date. MAF analyses all submissions and considers how they might be included in final decisions.
The stage 2 amendment provides a qualitative review of the post mortem examination procedures for lymph nodes routinely examined in the bovine carcass and mesenteric lymph nodes - associated with the detection of bovine tuberculosis.
