Fortification of Bread with Folic Acid

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has consulted on the future of the Standard to fortify bread with folic acid in New Zealand. On 27 August, the Food Safety Minister signed the new standard, which allowed for the continued voluntary fortification of bread with folic acid.
