Regulations under the Wine Act
There are 3 regulations under the Wine Act. The Wine Regulations 2006 include important food safety requirements which winemakers need to meet, while other regulations relate to industry levies.

Notices under the Wine Act describe food safety and verification requirements that winemakers and verifiers need to meet. These include:

- Wine (Recognised Agencies and Persons) Notice 2010.

Standards under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code
Winemakers also meet requirements under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code). The New Zealand (Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code) Food Standards 2002 gives effect to the agreement between the governments for a joint food standards system.
